HolyMolyGuacamole came into our rescue program on July 21, 2017. HolyMolyGuacamole came into our rescue program from an Oklahoma Kill Pen after being saved by the Save our Standardbreds from Slaughter (SOSS) group. The Rescue Network reached out to us and asked if we could assist with taking in a Standardbred that they fund-raised to save. HolyMolyGuacamole is a Beautiful, Bay, Standardbred, Mare. HolyMolyGuacamole was foaled on April 05, 2002 and she stands around 15.2 hands tall. HolyMolyGuacamole is a super sweet girl. She came to us with several injuries. She had a wound on her leg and a significant wound on her hip, which did require surgery. She had an open wound that continued to drain and would not heal due to the necrotic tissue, etc., Our Veterinarians was able to lay her down for surgery to clean the wound out as much possible. The tract was very long and they went as deep as they could. The wound is healing up nicely with limited drainage. We are optimistic that the wound will complete close up and heal. She is very sensitive with that hip, as I am sure that it has been quite painful for her. She is doing much better. HolyMolyGuacamole is broke to drive, and a former harness racing horse. We will evaluate her further once her wounds completely heal for additional information. HolyMolyGuacamole will make someone a wonderful addition to anyone's family. HolyMolyGuacamole stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. We will update with additional information soon, as well as, her adoption status. Please consider making a donation to assist towards HolyMolyGuacamole's Rehabilitation.
